Jay Young began his real estate career in 1986 as an industrial sales and leasing agent with White & Associates in Atlanta. Focus primarily involved brokerage of industrial properties for both Tenants and Landlords.

Joined Hailey Realty Company in Atlanta in 1992, later becoming a principal and co-owner of the company. Focus has remained on industrial property transactions for both local and national clients. Mr. Young was awarded the Phoenix Award in 1996 by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors for 10 years of industrial brokerage production in excess of $1,000,000 per year. Responsibilities have expanded to include oversight of the brokerage and property management divisions of Hailey Realty Company and overall management of the company with partner Reid Hailey.

In March of 2000, Mr. Young formed WYW Properties, LLC to invest in multi-tenant industrial properties. Since that time, WYW and affiliated companies, have purchased 21 industrial buildings in 9 transactions totaling 625,000 square feet. Our investment strategy is to purchase well-located properties and maximize the return of each asset through either a redevelopment, repositioning, re-sell or stabilize and hold strategy. To date, our investments have returned an average annual rate of 30% to our investors. Since 2004, Mr. Young's investment activities are in partnership with Boyd Johnson under Johnson Hailey Investments. Hailey Realty Company provides the leasing, management and brokerage services for each asset.
